Gann Box
What is a Gann Box
This box when drawn forms multiple geometric areas and lines that show you hidden support and resistance areas. Some of these project out into the future which is VERY useful for trading. You select recent swing high and low pivot points and then see how price is respecting the various lines. Try several swing points and see which is best. The GANN GEOMETRY is there, just find it. Then stick with these swing points until price moves outside the right side of the box. Depending on your chart interval setting, this could be minutes to days.

Draw from Swing Low to Swing High Price Bar
The SH bar should be later in time than the SL bar.
- First, DBL-CLICK just BELOW the SL bar of your choice. A small Red circle forms at the bottom of this bar.
- Next, SGL-CLICK just ABOVE the SH bar of your choice. A small Blue circle forms at the top of this bar, and, your box is drawn.
Draw from a Swing High to Swing Low Price Bar
The SL bar should be later in time than the SH bar.
- First, DBL-CLICK just ABOVE the SH bar of your choice. A small Blue circle forms at the top of this bar.
- Next, SGL-CLICK just BELOW the SL bar of your choice. A small Red circle forms at the bottom of this bar, and, your box is drawn.

- You can only have one box drawn on a chart at a time
- You cannot insert another time frame’s box into another chart
- The price of the SL, SH, and horizontal box lines are printed for you
- The latest drawn box will save upon program exit and currency or time changes
- To remove the efs study, go to the ‘Chart Options’ menu again, and find the ‘Remove’ option
- To clear up the efs, if the chart ever gets ‘messed up’, go to ‘Chart Options’ menu and then the ‘Reload’ option. Click on this efs to reload a fresh copy into the chart
- A Double-Click is a fast...click click
- Experiment with SL's and SH's to find where the Gann symmetry is, ie, looking for a box where price respects the lines up to the present action.
